Church Life serves to build community at Dolores Park Church by getting people connected to the church and each other.  Church Life is a ministry that creates events to provide opportunities for new fellowship to begin and existing community to be strengthened.

The Living Room (Thursday Nights at DPC)

Every Thursday night this summer, DPC will be hosting a weekly gathering focused on growing as a community of Christ’s Disciples.
This will be a very casual, community-oriented atmosphere that is open for all, but appealing to a younger generation of adults and people who may be less interested in church, but still desiring strong biblical teaching.  The main emphasis will be on building community through sharing meals, enjoying music and worship, praying together and exploring the scriptures. Mission Springs Women's Retreat
Midweek, Sept. 21-23     Weekend, Sept. 24-26
Mark these dates in your calendar, and plan on attending this year's Women's Retreat in September. It will be a wonderful time of rest and renewal, as well as an opportunity to grow closer to God and his church. This year's theme is trusting God with your hopes and dreams as you continually respond to His perfect plan for your life. Early registration is available through August 15. Brochures with Registration info will be in the Fellowship Hall this Sunday. The Global Church Conference
October 15-17, 2010
Mark your calendars now for this unique conference for hearing the Church in the Majority World. Once again, DPC is helping to sponsor this conference as a partner church. This year's topic is "Who is my Neighbor? Embracing and Extending the Welcome of God". We anticipate hearing how Christians, in far more conflicted contexts than we, are able to extend lavish hospitality and welcome to their neighbor, the stranger, and even their enemy. Men’s Basketball on Wednesdays
Men - we have a weekly basketball game at the gym in the Anderson Building, 65 Dorland. Join us from 7-8:30 pm. It will be an awesome time of hanging out with some guys from church.

Choir Rehearsals

Choir will be on break through the summer, and will resume in September. Stay tuned!
