Our Annual Cinco De Mayo Outreach Café is coming up on May 5th. We would love to have you be a part of it. Lunch will be served outside on round tables set up on the sidewalk. Everyone passing by will be invited for great food and conversation. You are also welcome to invite family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. Your help is needed in setting up, inviting, talking to people at the tables and/or cleaning up. If interested, after church on May 5th, meet Pastor John downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.
All children, nursery through fifth grade, are invited to the Easter Egg Hunt on Easter during Sunday School soon after the Kids Choir sings! Donations are needed for plastic eggs filled with treats like wrapped candy, stickers, coins and/or temporary tattoos. If interested, contact Sarah Jeanne Hood at email@example.com. Please drop off your donations of filled eggs in the foyer outside the sanctuary or church office by Sunday, April 14th.
We will be hosting our annual Easter Celebration on Sunday April 21st, at 10:30 am. This years celebration will be held at Dolores Park Church (455 Dolores St.) and will feature our children's choir, our adult choir, a special band, an Easter Message, and Baptism. If you would like to be Baptized please email the church office at DPC.OFFICE@GMAIL.COM.
Join us to celebrate the biblical feast of Passover! This Seder is the last supper Jesus had with his disciples before his execution, and when He identified Himself as the Passover Lamb. We will recount the story of the Exodus through symbolism and song, enjoy a full meal, and learn of the great significance this holiday can hold for followers of Jesus.
Directly after the Membership Class there will be a time to prepare for the baptisms on Easter. If you would like to be baptized during the easter service we would encourage you to attend this class. This class will go over the importance and significance of baptism as well as what to expect during the service.
