Sunday Worship Service

IMG_7206.jpg

Every Sunday we gather for Worship, Prayer, Communion, and to hear a message from Scripture.

The San Francisco Department of Health issued permission for religious gatherings to meet indoors at 25% capacity, but not to exceed 100 people. Dolores Park Church’s sanctuary and balcony are large enough to accommodate 100 people with 6 feet distancing between families. We encourage those concerned with health issues to enjoy the service at home either on Facebook or YouTube. Links to both can be found here on our website.

For more information check out our re-gathering page HERE.

MOPS Evening

Mops Header.png

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. We are a community group for all mothers of young children, from pregnancy to kindergarten. We believe that the motherhood journey isn’t meant to traveled alone. We know mothering young children can be hard – emotionally, physically, and mentally. It requires all of you! We also know that mothering alongside a tribe of women in the same stage of life not only provides connection, encouragement and resources, it also makes it a lot more fun!

Dolores Park MOPS provides a safe (virtual) space for all mothers to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope. Our meetings include connection, practical teaching, and discussion. Sometimes we play games, make crafts, or do a service project.

Things look a little different this year due to Covid-19 restrictions and precautions.
Here is what we have going on this fall:

Virtual Meetings: Beginning in September, we will meet on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays via Zoom at 1 p.m. or 8 p.m. - whenever you child(ren) are most cooperative (or sleeping). While this time is meant for you, we know that your children may be on you, next to you, or interrupt you. That’s okay! We get it. Join us anyway.

In-person Meet-up: We’ll have in-person, physically distanced park meet-ups (with masks, no children) every 3rd Saturday from 10:30 – Noon. Locations will be announced to members each month.

There is a membership fee to join MOPS International of $31.95* for the year. We are not charging our local chapter dues at this time. Feel free to attend two meetings before committing.

*This fee is required to join our local group. Scholarships are available.
